Rogier van Wegberg started playing bass in the 80ies.

Hearing  fusion made him decide to go to the conservatory in Hilversum.

Pretty soon he became more involved in playing gigs with local artists, at events and in some coverbands.

In the new millenium he got the chance to accompany international artists on a French televisionshow.

This led to a steady position as bass player for ‘Night of the Proms’.

In that capacity he played with an incredible amount of world famous artists. (see ‘Artists’)

Normal gigging happened on the side, from bargigs to weddings and everything in between.

From 2018 until 2024 Rogier played guitar, Bass and Vimana for David Garrett.

Rogier is passionate about the instrument bass itself, the looks, the feel, the build quilaity, the place in the mix and the attributes that contribute to that
